We would like to reassure our patients that our Surgeries are open. However in line with NHS England guidance we are operating a total triage system. Total triage means that every patient contacting the practice is first triaged before making an appointment. Total triage is important to reduce avoidable footfall in practices and protect patients and staff from the risks of infection. We also feel this system will provide a better service for our patients enabling us to respond in the most appropriate and efficient way. We are now using eConsult to triage all queries and appointment requests. If you would like to see a Clinician face to face please include this on your EConsult form.
If you require an appointment please complete an eConsult. You can submit an eConsult by clicking on the link at the top of this page or by clicking here: eConsult
You can also submit an eConsult as well as access lots of useful information via the NHSapp
Prescription requests can be submitted via the NHSapp and prescription and administrative requests can be submitted via eConsult
If you need further advice please call your reception.
What is eConsult
eConsult is a platform that allows you to seek self-help information from the NHS, through your GP Practice or surgery website. Services include self-help information, advice or help from local services which may be appropriate for your condition, such as self-referral services or help from your local pharmacy.
One of the key benefits of eConsult is that it is available at any time and from any device - meaning you can ask for advice from your GP without having to queue on the phone at 8am or wait weeks for an appointment you may not need. You can complete eConsult from the comfort of your own home, on a break at work, or on the train home. eConsults can be clinical or administrative in nature, and in most cases, your GP may not need to see you face-to-face for an appointment.
