What is the Ask for ANI domestic abuse codeword scheme?

The government has launched the Ask for ANI (Action Needed Immediately) codeword scheme to enable victims of domestic abuse to access immediate help from the police, or other support services, from the safety of their local pharmacy or Doctors Surgery. If you need help please approach a staff member and Ask for ANI.
